Overview: As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment team in various administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. Your role will involve coordinating interviews, managing candidate communication, and maintaining recruitment databases and documentation. You will play a crucial role in providing a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews, coordinate interview logistics, and arrange travel accommodations for candidates as needed. Ensure that all parties involved are informed of interview details and any changes to schedules.
- Candidate Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates, answering inquiries, and guiding them through the recruitment process. Communicate professionally and courteously via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Application Management: Manage candidate applications in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including reviewing resumes, updating candidate statuses, and ensuring data accuracy. File and organize candidate documentation and correspondence.
- Recruitment Support: Assist recruiters with posting job openings on various platforms, sourcing candidates, and conducting initial resume screenings. Help maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job opportunities.
- Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process for new hires by preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, and assisting with new hire paperwork. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees as they join the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records, reports, and metrics. Generate recruitment-related reports as needed to track progress, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the coordination of recruiting events, job fairs, and campus recruitment activities. Help with event logistics, scheduling, and materials preparation to ensure successful recruitment outreach efforts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other team members to support recruitment initiatives and meet hiring goals. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and process improvement discussions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience or coursework may be considered.
- Experience: Previous experience in a recruiting coordinator role or HR administrative position is advantageous. Familiarity with recruitment processes and applicant tracking systems is desirable.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and correspondence. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and work processes. Willingness to learn new skills and tools to support recruitment efforts.
