Job Description

Overview: As the Group Marketing Manager, you will lead the marketing efforts across multiple brands or business units within the organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, driving brand awareness, and implementing innovative marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of various marketing channels and tactics.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to define target audiences, positioning, and messaging for each brand or business unit.
  2. Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital marketing, traditional advertising, social media, events, and partnerships.
  3. Brand Management: Ensure consistency and coherence in brand messaging, visual identity, and customer experience across all marketing touchpoints. Monitor brand performance metrics and conduct market research to identify opportunities for brand enhancement and differentiation.
  4. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performing marketing team focused on achieving strategic objectives and delivering impactful results.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and customer service to align marketing initiatives with product launches, sales promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
  6. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify emerging opportunities and threats. Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.
  7. Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets for multiple brands or business units, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimal return on investment. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  8. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on marketing initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience managing marketing teams and overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience in developing talent, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and derive actionable insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas, influence stakeholders, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of marketing principles, techniques, and best practices across various channels and industries. Experience in B2B and B2C marketing is preferred.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other marketing technologies.
