Job Description

Overview: As a Product Manager for the Studio team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of our studio platform, catering to the needs of creators and artists. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your role will involve understanding user needs, prioritizing features, and driving the execution of product initiatives to deliver an exceptional studio experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Product Vision and Strategy: Define the product vision and strategy for the studio platform, aligning it with company goals and market opportunities. Conduct market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to identify user needs and inform product direction.
  2. Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, enhancements, and initiatives. Prioritize features based on user feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
  3. Feature Definition: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into actionable product specifications and user stories. Work closely with designers to create intuitive user interfaces and experiences.
  4. Project Execution: Lead the execution of product initiatives from concept to launch. Work closely with engineering teams to define project scope, estimate timelines, and deliver high-quality releases on time and within budget.
  5. User Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the user experience of the studio platform by gathering user feedback, conducting usability testing, and iterating on design solutions. Identify opportunities to enhance usability, performance, and accessibility.
  6. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze user data, metrics, and KPIs to measure product performance and identify areas for improvement. Use quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions and prioritize product enhancements.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to gather input, communicate product updates, and ensure alignment across teams. Engage with external partners and customers to gather feedback and build relationships.
  8. Product Launch and Adoption: Lead product launches and go-to-market strategies to drive user adoption and engagement. Work closely with marketing teams to develop messaging, positioning, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of product management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering digital products or platforms. Experience in the creative industry or with studio software is highly desirable.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to understand market trends, user needs, and competitive dynamics. Experience developing product strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of software development processes, technologies, and best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams and make informed technical decisions.
  • User-Centric Approach: Deep empathy for users and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering customer feedback.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus. Experience leading cross-functional project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences. Experience presenting product plans, roadmaps, and business cases.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Ability to set clear goals, prioritize effectively, and drive execution to achieve business outcomes.
